How it works

  1. Add words, accounts, dates, or engagement limits.
  2. Review the generated X query.
  3. Copy it or open X Search to view matching results.

Limits and privacy

X controls search availability and results. Some searches may require an X login. Filter drafts stay in temporary memory while you move between this tool and its guide; refreshing or closing the tab clears them. Nothing is written to browser storage or sent to this site. Opening X Search sends the generated query to x.com.

Filters X handles in its own search screen

X lists language as a filter in Advanced Search, but its official web-search operator guide does not specify a language query token. Select language on X after opening your search.

A general “has links” filter is not included because the documented filter:news operator only narrows to news links; it is not a general link filter.

X's operator reference documents min_retweets: as the web equivalent for minimum reposts. Older X Pro examples use different spelling, so X may change or handle search syntax differently.

This page uses X web-search syntax. X API search operators and access rules are separate and are not used here.

Frequently asked questions

Does this page search X for me?

No. It builds a query and sends you to X Search when you choose Open X search.

Do I need an X account?

Opening a query is free, but X may require you to sign in to view search results or use Advanced Search.

Are my filters stored?

No. They remain only in temporary memory while this tab is open and are cleared when the tab is refreshed or closed. Returning from this tool's guide keeps the current draft. Opening X Search sends the generated query to x.com.
